Poison oak/ivy?

i have this little patch on my leg and a doctor told me that it looked like poison ivy or poison oak i used something called poison ivy soap for a couple of weeks and then stopped but i've been using hydrocortisine twice a day ever since i got it which was about a few months and its not going away i read that it should go away in a couple of weeks but i've had it way longer shouldn't it have gone away by now and what can i do go get rid of it for good?

Maybe it is impetigo which can look similar to poison ivy. If it has been there for a few months, you need to have a dermatologist look at it and give you the proper medication because poison ivy should have been cleared up by now; therefore, what you are putting on it is not helping and you need something different.
