Poison Ivy Around Privates?

I recently got poison ivy from touching some plants/trees in my backyard. Unfortunately, I also happened to touch my privates when pleasing myself that very same day (without knowing I had touched poison ivy). The poison ivy has gone away, but it left some discoloring around my "member". Should I consult a dermatologist about how to fix this, or should I just use some bleach? I heard that a small amount of bleach will clear the skin of disease and make it a tiny bit lighter (African ladies use bleach on their privates to make themselves virgins again, and supposedly it gets rid of HIV). Thanks for your opinions.





P.S (Usually in a medical situation like this I would consult a doctor, but my parents are very strict and would inquire as to how I got poison ivy on my "member". I'm not really supposed to be touching myself, so I'd prefer an alternative to a doctor because they would find out.)

bleach will not make anyone virginal, nor will it stop HIV transmission. It WILL irritate your skin and make whatever rash you have much worse. I would suggest calamine lotion or benadryl (diphenhydramine) cream. If there is a lot of swelling, you should see a doctor to get some steroids for a few days to help.
Reply:No, don't use bleach. The discoloration is just temporary scarring; it will go away with time. Bleach can burn your skin.

Reply:I would suggest a good helping of TIDE detergent. Once I fell off my bike into some poison ivy and got it on my nose. So I just splashed some TIDE on it and it went away. Dont know if it works on everyone though. Ive been told my skin has a fabric feeling to it already, so maybe TIDE naturally works for me.
