Poison Ivy...2nd time in a month?

any ways to get rid of poison ivy as soon as possible? without going to a local pharmacy to get medicine for it? i have Ivy Dry and Ivarest but it takes about a week to get rid of the poison ivy, ive used baking soda a couple weeks ago to get all the stuff out of it but takes to long to do...anyone have HOME REMEDIES or anything like that? thanks soo much

Well, a good way to prevent it is to wash yourself wherever you came in contact with it, or to take a shower after you're been in the woods or may have had contact with it.





Here's a good remedy





Rub alcohol to the affected area, then rinse it with water and later wash with soap and water. Wet the infected area and rub plain table salt on it, this will not only relieve the victim but also stop further spread. Rub the inner side of a banana peel on the rash. This will help you to relieve itching. Place the infected area under running water. This will wash away histamines which cause itching of skin. Pour 3 cups of oats into warm water and soak the infected area into it. Simultaneously rub the affected area. Doing this will relieve you of itching. Mix 1/4 cup of bleach with 3/4 cup of warm water and apply to the affected area using a washcloth. This will kill the poison within 2 to 3 days. Apply aloe vera juice over the affected area, this will cool and provide instant relief.

Your going to think its really strabge or weird but it works for me! instead of medication or stuffn like that, run water over your poison ivy not just cold water but hot water, but you want to get the water just as hot as you can stand it not to burn your self or scald your self but only as hot as you can stand it! This way it dries out the poison ivy! Weather its on your arms or your legs! It usually works best in the shower just before you go to bed, that way you dont spend all night scratching and itching! like i said it works for me! JUST BE CAREFULL WITH THE HOT WATER!! only as hot as you can stand it!!!!!
