Putting blench on poison ivy?
the appropriate treatment for that exposure is soap and water washing. If it reacts, then use Caladryl topically and benadryl orally.
Reply:NO
Reply:wooo ok i just did the same thing Noo dont scratch it open and do it. just apply once liberaly and wait a day or so the itching will stop today but the bumps will stay for maybe another 2
Reply:If it doesn't seem to get better and starts spreading you may have to go to a Dr. and get a shot to clear it up.

Never scratch it because the liquid in the blisters will make it spread to other parts of the body, even just touching it sometimes. Wash hands. The caladryll and benedryll are good things to put on it to dry it up. Will take a few days if it even works. Good Luck. NO BLEACH please, that is for laundry!!
Reply:I have no idea what blench is...but if it's anything like bleach, you don't want it on your skin. Ever.

Scratching poison ivy only helps it to spread. Stop scratching.

It will usually subside on it's own, but you can help it along by either applying pramoxine (Caladryl) topically or diphenhydramine (Benadryl) topically and/or orally.

Also, be sure to wash the site thoroughly.
Reply:no... u put egg white o it and that dries up ur poison ivy... just crack and egg on a plate and the dip your fingers in it and rub it on the infected area.
