GUYS!!! help! poison ivy on genitalia??!?
oh man this has happend to me sooooooo many times. all of theise answers are serious.

1 do not under any circumstances scratch, itch, masturbate

(seriously) and dont have sex. i know its hard but dont do any of these.

2 sleep as much as possible (you wont knowtice it)

3 this might sound kinda weird, but put an ice pack on it, it will numb the poison ivy

4 keep it as dry as possible.

5 keep pluggin along with the ivy dry
Reply:Calamine lotion.

Cheap and works instantly.

BTW, I just have to say.....LOL!!
Reply:OUCH! Well, there is nothing else he can do.

This never happened to me, but he's doing the right thing so far, but make sure he doesn't scratch it
Reply:It's natures way of getting back at him for "hunting". Killing is not right....he should suffer the itches of hell!
Reply:Ouch that sucks! Sorry to say but he is going to have to just stop itching! :( Try reading these sites on how to treat it. Good luck, hope you don't get it.
Reply:u r doing everything u can...n also just so u no benadryl has this cream acting as an anti itch for skin....if it is still bothering him then go see a doc
Reply:have him apply Calamine Lotion.....it should help with the itchiness.
Reply:get to calling 911 and get to a hospital that sounds bad happy new years.
Reply:I find this pretty hard to believe, but whatever he has the answer is still the same. He needs to get to a doctor and get advice what to use.

I have seen poison ivy and there are probably lotions you can use, but it is pretty miserable in a normal place on your hands or arms....he still needs to find out what to use....and to be sure that is what the problem is...just in case it is something else. So tell him to see the doctor....think he needs more!
Reply:Double the Benadryl dose and keep putting the Ivy-Dry spray on or get some Calamine Lotion, that might work better. It is okay to double the Benadryl dose, I did it for an allergic reaction that I had and talked with a doctor and he said that doubling the dose for a short period of time is okay. You might also want to take a Tagamet anti-acid tablet, that also acts as a antihistamine.
